Investigation of the Biological Markers of Major Depression
About the Study
This study investigates the biological features of depression and how they can help treatment outcomes in patients. Involves standard antidepressant treatment for 8+ weeks. Participants will complete self-report questionnaires, clinical assessments with a psychiatrist, answer questions about their medical history, bloodwork, electroencephalography (EEG), and more.

You may be eligible to participate if:
- Are between the ages of 18 – 65 years old
- Have Major Depressive Disorder and are currently feeling depressed
- Are able to attend in-person visits at Providence Care Hospital
